Hi, I’m Holly!
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services and a Master’s in Clinical Counseling, both from East Carolina University. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist supporting individuals through challenges related to substance use and mental health. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina, and I’m on track to become fully licensed as a LCMHC early next year—an exciting step that will allow me to expand my reach and impact.
My therapeutic approach blends warmth, structure, and evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I help clients build confidence, break free from negative thought patterns, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. I especially enjoy working with pregnant and postpartum individuals, and those facing substance use concerns. Whether we're setting goals, developing coping skills, or working through persistent struggles, I strive to create a safe, uplifting space where meaningful change feels possible.
I have experience in a variety of settings—including inpatient substance use programs, inpatient mental health treatment, and outpatient therapy—and I work with both teens and adults. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and always tailored to your needs. You set the pace; I walk beside you with empathy, support, and a commitment to your growth.
On a personal note, I’m married and a proud mom of two energetic boys who keep life joyful and busy. I’m a big fan of Disney World and love traveling—whether it’s a weekend getaway or a family adventure across the country. Exploring new places helps me recharge and brings me fresh perspective, which I love bringing back into my work.
Therapy is a journey, and I believe everyone deserves the chance to grow, heal, and thrive. Let’s take the next step together.
